Yeh, the style attribute seems to be what I need. I can probably throw in a 
style that shades a certain percentage of the top and bottom. Not perfect, 
but good enough. Would be great if I could have a graphic as the chart 
background rather than a color. That would also go far in solving the 
problem.
I'm going to play with that and see what I can get rolling.
