It depends on what you mean by a form submission error. If someone enters
the wrong datatype within a form field, and you then submit that to a
database, CFERROR will trap that. It would be a database exception. If you
write your own validation to check data, you have to figure out how to deal
with invalid data. If you use the built-in "server-side" validation that
consists of hidden form fields (ex: "fieldname_required", "fieldname_date",
etc), you can customize the error page that's presented using CFERROR with
the TYPE attribute set to "VALIDATION".
