I'm thinking that saying "you don't need this in between..." is like saying that you don't need CF or any other scripting language because you could build everything you want in 1's and 0's. I know that's a bit of an extreme oversimplification, but I also see the value in a utility that makes it easier for people to accomplish a certain goal. I've got no doubts that we could all work out how to pass the structures back and forth if we worked on it long enough, but CFAJAX, Weborb, OpenRico, Neuromancer... are all available alternatives to make it easier to do it. What's so offensive about that?
