The ideal setup would be... The web servers (serving graphics and static html) in the dmz behind a load balancer with isapi rewrite or jrun connector or mod_rewrite to connect through a firewall to a load balancer connecting to the two coldfusion servers. Then the coldfusion servers would be connected to the database server through another firewall.
