Yep. And it's good to understand how MySQL handles the difference between alpha, beta, and gamma (production) releases. http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/release-philosophy.html In brief, the release moves from alpha to beta when there is a feature-freeze. Then the product remains in beta until all known repeatable fatal bugs are handled. That means the beta is really long -- it's not like, for example, the Microsoft Vista Beta 1 :) Many people use the betas for live production code (though NOT the alphas). The label "beta" has a undesirable connotation to many people, so it's worth understanding how MySQL handles the word -- they're Swedish after all :) :) -- > Damien McKenna - Web Developer - [EMAIL PROTECTED] > The Limu Company - http://www.thelimucompany.com/ - 407-804-1014 > #include <stdjoke.h> > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
