Just save the cfusion/lib/neo*.xml files and after you install the j2ee
version, copy your saved copies back into the cfusion/lib folder and
that should keep all of your settings.

ArcIMS 9.1, CFMX7 Enterprise, IIS 5.0, Win2k Server.

Um, yeah, in the ESRI docs it tells you to install JRun 4.0 and every
step expects to find c:\JRun4 and for there to be this directory path:
<JRun Installation
Directory>\servers\default\default-ear\default-war\WEB-INF\classes. I
don't know about the CFMX J2EE option, but in the "stand-alone" option
(using IIS) there is no such directory path. In our configuration, JRun
is in c:\CFusionMX7\runtime\bin . The whole install path is extremely
sketchy for folks using ColdFusion. Can somebody running the CFMX J2EE
configuration tell me if they have the full path under the JRun
Installation Directory?

If we are supposed to use the J2EE option to make this work, can I save
our CF settings somehow and reinstall selecting the J2EE option?
