Looting to get essentials for survival isn't looting. Its been something like five days since Katrina hit. I've spent an August in New Orleans and I can say from personal experience the weather is hellish. To ge without food or water in that environment for a period of days... I'd break a window myself. Now the guys who are trying on sneakers, and jacking cars off of dealer lots...
