You really can't guarantee that... and it doesn't have to be a "downgrade", it could be a move to Oracle or PostgreSQL. You don't want to know how many times I've heard this story, or from how many different people: 1) my boss (quit|died|transfered to another department|was demoted) 2) and they guy who replaced him decided that even though everything had been running swimmingly on (ColdFusion|SQL Server|MySQL) for years 3) we weren't going to use it anymore -- all our projects and all our clients were now going to use (Java|Oracle|SQL Server|.NET) whether they (needed|liked) it or not because the new boss liked it Just for starters, ask: Mike Dinowitz Jim Davis s. isaac dealey 954.522.6080 new epoch : isn't it time for a change? add features without fixtures with the onTap open source framework http://www.fusiontap.com http://coldfusion.sys-con.com/author/4806Dealey.htm ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
