thanks for your answer.....
it fixed the problem!

I never even entered the ODBC setup....which of course set the default value
to "master".

but just a qustion.....i didn't think i had to set it up within the ODBC
setup?
I thought I could just do it within cold fusion....at least that is what i
have been doing.....

So when i setup datasources do i do it through the ODBC setup, and then in
CF admin?
