Hi-I am a beginner with beginner's questions. Here is a nagging one.
Having set up an Access database with separate time and date columns, =
every time I query it via a cfquery, I get the hidden date of the time =
field back (30 Dec. 1899). I can of course do away with it by the =
DatePart function, but if I then ask for a date match (e.g. , WHERE =
Date=3D30-9-2000) somehow I then get no match.
I have tried to input various formats first, like Date=3D9-30-00, =
9/30/2000, and the like, but this did not seem to do the trick, and I =
was given the suggestion to put the dates in my table in ODBC format, =
but this returned inapplicable, the database refused to take it. I used =
the following code:
<cfquery datasource=3D"kapper">
INSERT INTO Afspraak(Datum)
VALUES ('#CreateODBCDate (now())#')
WHERE AfspraakID=3D1
</cfquery>
Who can help?
