Ok, after playing around w/the WebCharts3D Designer for a couple of days off
and on, I finally figured out how to get all the labels to show up.
To fix this, you'll need to either create a custom style sheet for the Chart
to use, or edit the default style sheet(s) so that it does this by default.
* Go to your CFusionMX7\charting\styles folder
* Make a copy of your default.xml and call it default.xml.bak.
* Change the default.xml so that it's no longer a read only file.
* Open the default.xml file in a text edit.
* Find the lines:
<xAxis>
<labelStyle isHideOverlapped="true"
orientation="Horizontal"/>
<titleStyle font="Arial-12-bold" isMultiline="false"/>
</xAxis>
* Change the <labelStyle /> tag's "isHideOverlapped" attribute to "false".
* Save the file.
Now it should output the labels for everything on the X-Axis (which is the
"label" attribute on the <cfchartdata /> tag.)
If you're using a horizontal bar chart and it has a variable number of
"labels", I'd recommend using a dynamic value for your height. I'd start
with something like numberOfRows * 5 and see how that works out. Seems to be
a pretty good number for me.
It would be nice if there was a way to adjust the overlay threshold--that
way I could turn down the overlapped value without having to turn it off
completely, but I haven't found a way yet. Fortunately, you can turn it
off--which seems to be a better option for me than having it on.
