Well perhaps I ought not have trusted the source of what I read...  I'm only
now in the process of configuring SVN, so I haven't actually seen it not
working.  But reading that it didn't work was puzzling.  I have Tortoise SVN
client; sounds like I have nothing to worry about.  Sorry for the post!

That's not correct, I use keyword expansion with $Id: $ all the time, what
client are you using?

Perhaps you have subversion not associating .cfm with a binary file type.
