It is extremely frustrating. I'm just trying to expand my skills. I would like 
to get to know some their products and languages, but I can hardly do that ... 
let alone promote them ... if they make it so difficult or cost prohibitive for 
developers.  

I don't think mono works on windows yet, so I'm still searching for 
alternatives ;-)
