I've got a custom CMS codebase that I'm always looking to improve. A client of mine is having some issues with getting logged out at what appears to be irregular intervals. So I suggested to her that she keep note of how long she had been logged in so that we could determine if there's a pattern.
Anyway, that led me to think that it would be nice if I provided a countdown to the time I have set in my application tag (30 minutes I think). When zero is reached, it would fire off a function which would return the user to the login page (which logs them out). Does anyone have something like this and would be willing to share? Or better yet, does anyone have a better idea of how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance. <!----------------//------ andy matthews web developer ICGLink, Inc.
