I have not seen this documented anywhere, so I thought it would be important to make two points about the Merrimack (MX 7.01) release:
1) The recent XMPP gateway update released (to support Google Talk, among other things) is *not* included in the Updater, as it was completed too late in the Merrimack cycle. The gateway can be downloaded from here and should be applied after running the Updater: http://www.macromedia.com/go/b39b42b5 2) Merrimack does *not* support Oracle 10g Release 2, only Release 1 (without RAC support, per the Macromedia site). The thread from a few days ago regarding the inability to return REF CURSORS in Release 2 to ColdFusion still applies because Merrimack ships with the older DataDirect drivers. If this effects you, contact Stephen Dupre (as he noted in the previous cf-talk thread on this topic) to get in on a beta program he is starting for the DataDirect 3.5+ driver set which does support Release 2.
