structClear() actually deletes other info that you might wish to keep, like cfid stuff. Your better of always setting your session variables in another structure, i.e. Session.user.username = "blah"; Session.user.firstname = "blah";
That way when you only want to expire the user details of the session you can just do structDelete( session, "user" ) It gives you more control.
