I used to maintain an AOL account for the purpose of testing my stuff, but that became far less necessary as time went on, and I haven't had any reports of issues with my applications in AOL in a long time. Ever tried to cancel an AOL account? It's fun! I could get AOL for free now because I have high speed internet access from Time Warner. They're bundling it if you ask for it.
