Kerry, Thats a rather extreme case but you would be slightly better off with the load ballanced scheme. You'd have to set it off once on each balanced server in very rapid succession to kill them all at the same time as opposed to just once on the single server. Its vaguely likely but not guaranteed that you'd get a new server each time depending on how the load balancing doles out the requests so you might have to set it off 5 times to get each server in a cluster of 3.
