Acutally, I got so frustrated with it that I opened an incident with MM,
after they charged me $499.00.

It's a pretty simple fix, and I'm going from memory (even though it's only
been a few hours ago, shows you how my short-term memory is lapsing :o) )

This would only work if the 7.0.01 Merrimack was installed over top of 7.0,
and I'm on Windows Server 2003. Since I'm not with MM, I can't take
responsibility for any adverse effects with this.

1) Stop all CFMX7 services

2) Browse to C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\WEB-INF\

3) Be sure you have a folder inside this called "cfclasses_backup" (and with
files in it)

4) Delete all files in the "C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\WEB-INF\cfclasses"
directory.

5) Restart all your CFMX7 services. This will recompile all the classes
into the directoy you just deleted them from.

6) Make sure you can surf to and open CFMX admin.

7) Try your Cfdoc tag - worked for me.

Apparently, when 7.0.1 is installed it's supposed to remove all the old
class files, and recompile the new ones in the "cfclasses" folder. Then the
cfclasses_backup receives the old files during the patch upgrade. For some
reason, unknown to me, the class file overwriting/updating doesn't work
correctly during the patch upgrade.

But it did solve the problem for me. Result, happy client.
BTW: MM did refund my $499.

HTH

Mark
