Well, I don't think that's really a valid statement. I mean, most shops don't use ColdFusion exclusively to access their Oracle database, and yet it's ColdFusion that seems to have missed the Release 2 support. Further, the Release Notes for the 7.0.1 updater are extremely mis-leading (and I've noted as such, but to no avail), as it says "Oracle 10g RDBMS support" under "New platform support" and doesn't say that it's only Release 1.
