I use CommerceBlocks DatabaseBlocks V1.1.3 for putting together backend maintenance systems for customers. Its difficult I think to make an intelligible front end out of it for public use, I prefer to tailor make those for the given applications, but as a backend, fantastic. We are currently in this huge business transformation thing and we are really under the hammer, particularly in the web area. Our Conference crowd wanted maintenance access to their database bits on their web site a few days ago and I knocked up quite an elegant solution in about 10 minutes using DatabaseBlocks. Functionally fantastic but design wise a bit drab - but then gain, it didn't have to be pretty, just work. I have been communicating with CommerceBlocks quite bit lately and I hear that DBBB V2 is in Beta and promises significantly more. I hope that's not vapourware talk. AS DBBB V2 is being developed I've taken the opportunity to give CommerceBlocks quite a bit of feedback about their current version and I've found them very responsive. ******************************** Kevin Parker Service and Communication WorkCover Corporation [EMAIL PROTECTED] ph: +61 8 82332548 fax: +61 8 82332000 ******************************** -----Original Message----- From: Peter Theobald [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, 27 September 2000 1:46:PM To: CF-Talk Subject: POLL: Cold Fusion tools & packages Let's hear some 'reviews' of Cold Fusion packages out there (only from people who have used them PLEASE!)
