If MS aren't able to pay off enough politicians in Massechusetts and the
move to OpenDocument happens as I'm hoping it will, I would expect to
see MS start supporting it, though begrudgingly; what I'd imagine they
do is add a broken filter then make lots of complaints about ODT being
poorly designed to be followed by lots of paid articles in magazines /
web sites and "expert research" saying the same thing.
