I added <reload>true</reload> to the WEB-INF/jrun-web.xml file, restarted the CF service but alas the bytecode is still being cached. I referenced http://livedocs.macromedia.com/jrun/4/Getting_Started_with_JRun/intro5.htm to make my changes. I'm not running CF Enterprise if that makes a difference.
