We are in the process of upgrading our production server from an old box running Windows 2000 server with IIS% and CFMX 6.1 Standard to and new box running Windows 2003 server with IIS6 and CFMX 7.01 Enterprise, multi-instance.
We are testing an application that at one point had a very long running query, sometimes on the order of 40 minutes when things where bad. Hopefully this is been greatly reduced to a few seconds, but that is a separate issue. While testing the bad query on the new box, it would process for several minutes. But before all was done, a security dialog box would popup and after re-entering appropriate details, a page would be returned, but no data. This does not happen on the old box. Anybody have any idea where this maybe coming from? My first idea is something changed between IIS5 and IIS6 or possibly between Win2000 Server and Win2003 server. But it could also be something with the upgraded CF server. We can not find any good suspects to fix. Hopefully somebody can provide us with an likely lineup. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource www.BloodSource.org Sacramento, CA "C code. C code run. Run code run.
