Yes, you can...
First you have to create a mapped network drive, like x:\ =
\\servername\sharepoint\
Then you can set up the datasource just as you would normally.
One pitfall is security. You may need to setup the ColdFusion services to
run as a user on your domain.

verification failed. The machine is another server in my NT domain. I'm
