Sounds like you must be using Win95/98/whatever.
If so, keep in mind that RAM and Resources are two entirely different things
with Win9x and using Studio with much of anything else is known to be a real
issue...one not likely to be easily solved.
Switch to WinNT/Win2K and your life will improve dramatically. Resources
just aren't an issue there and, apart from minor quirks that are being
addressed, CF Studio works flawlessly for me 8-10 hours/day without
fail...usually with 5-8 other apps open at the same time.
It really is worth the upgrade cost.
