For an upcoming conversion project I will be required to interact with another server via SOAP or .NET remoting. .. So I am doing some preliminary research.
I know that I can use the CFINVOKE tag for processing through SOAP requests. Seems simple and straight forward enough. Is there any difference in CFMX6.1and CFMX7 in regards to this? The server that I am going to be working with also accepts .NET remoting requests, is there a way to implement these with CF? IS there a significant speed advantage over SOAP?
