Well, I recently dumped the use of the CFX tag and just used the iText
engine direct (which is what it uses anyway).

I found it to be far faster.

Anyone out there using easel2's cfxpdf?  Yes, we are still on CF6.1,
no version 7 until 1q2006 probably, so don't even tease me with CF7

We are using it to generate a 5 to 15 page report.  Requesting only 2
or 3 of the reports pegs the CPU on our dev machine which is a 2CPU P4
Xeon with 2GB of RAM.  We have the JVM memory set to 512MB, min and
max size.  The report uses only 2 images repeated on each page and
some tabular data.  Any tips for performance?
