Well, I recently dumped the use of the CFX tag and just used the iText engine direct (which is what it uses anyway).
I found it to be far faster. -----Original Message----- From: Douglas Knudsen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: 05 November 2005 14:35 To: CF-Talk Subject: cfxpdf performance issues Anyone out there using easel2's cfxpdf? Yes, we are still on CF6.1, no version 7 until 1q2006 probably, so don't even tease me with CF7 :) We are using it to generate a 5 to 15 page report. Requesting only 2 or 3 of the reports pegs the CPU on our dev machine which is a 2CPU P4 Xeon with 2GB of RAM. We have the JVM memory set to 512MB, min and max size. The report uses only 2 images repeated on each page and some tabular data. Any tips for performance? -- Douglas Knudsen http://www.cubicleman.com this is my signature, like it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Logware (www.logware.us): a new and convenient web-based time tracking application.
