The reason I ask is that we currently do some development for sites that use Oracle and are hosted on navy bases. We currently have a copy of CFMX 6 Enterprise just for that purpose. We're upgrading to 7 and I'm curious if we'd need to keep Enterprise or if we could use Standard and the Oracle drivers without much of hiccup. Obviously, I'm afraid of the differences and want to keep it close for moving from one server to the other without problems, but we use pretty standard syntax and don't use much of Oracle for all that it could be used for. Just basic database operations. Anyone do this sort of thing and have more info on the differences?

The DataDirect drivers may be better, but I suspect that depends on the specifics of your application.
