Thanks for the feedback. That is a good point - we realize that some new 
topics may come up before the conference and have left some spaces in 
the schedule for that purpose. However many topics are the same year to 
year or can be predicted ahead of time. Thanks to all the people who 
have suggested topics! If you have a topic that you think will be hot 
but can't commit to it just say that in your topic description and we 
can decide what to do with it from there.

BTW the reason we ask for topics and speakers so early is that one of 
the complaints we got from attendees last year is that their managers 
wouldn't approve going to a conference until they could see what they 
would learn by going... and in some organizations they have to get 
training approval months in advance... :-)
