I have a bit of a problem with a team of developers. Its a new company and somewhat of a new problem. We use VSS to do the basic functions of checking out files, and developers keep them checked out until the file and changes in question are in production.
This has obvious problems - if another project comes along and has to also change that particular template then it cant progress any faster through the SDLC than the project that got there first.
