I've been playing with CSS again recently, and it was just so goofy and frustrating- exactly like I remember DHTML from a few years ago, just more options to screw everything up. I picked up the Flex2 Builder Alpha, and based on what I have been able to build just in the Alpha, I see no reason to keep playing with HTML for RIAs.
Starting from scratch with zero knowledge of Flex, I was able to convert an app that I have been trying to build in AJAX into Flex in about 4-5 hours.
