Hello All, This is the second time in the past month we have come across this issue. The scenario is I have a component which contains a number of queries against our database. Some of these queries have a table.* in them. It appears if we alter the tables with the .*s, ColdFusion throws an error stating invalid type or cast (basically, it expects a number but gets a string) in these queries.
This only happens when a new column has been added to the tables in question. Any ideas on why this is occuring or how to prevent this (other try and eliminate the *s)? We are running in a clustered environment but nothing within the component is persisted.
