Very off topic here .. I'm running several sites on Apache 2 on Windows 2000.
Having just updated a site I need to redirect 404 errors for those who have bookmarked old pages and are still trying to access them. Reading the docs it appears that directives can be placed inside the virtual host configuration, but I'm a tad confused as the docs also talk about needing .htaccess. Can someone put me right please?
