Ummm, no it doesn't. I think you have it confused with another custom
tag. CF_Accelerate in an in-memory page caching system developed by
Brandon Purcell at Macromedia. Think cfcache on steroids. Reading
through the entry on its functionality clearly shows that it's more
than text compression:
