They're a young company with relatively young products. Improvements between versions are pretty significant as a result. The difference between their v2.x and 3.x stats product was big. I can only imagine what a 1.x mail server would look like. A lot of IMail users migrated to SM 2.x back when Ipswitch shot itself in the foot with their ICS debacle. I was one. There are plusses and minuses to SM 2.x. If you need users stored in a db, for instance; SM can't do it. Antispam is primitive, but I don't care because I rely on a gateway and don't want the mail server in the mix. Webmail (what the clients actually use) is wonderful. Administration is much simpler in many ways and more complex in others. Resource usage is a fraction of what IMail was eating. V3.x is to be released any day now and should be interesting. -- --mattRobertson-- Janitor, MSB Web Systems mysecretbase.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:226963 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
