Opinions will vary... they definitely have their pros... but in my
opinion... no they are not ready for 'prime time'. And yes, load time is one
of my big problems with it but not the only problem.

Subject: Flash Forms - Why Not?

Hi folks

I have been spending some time lately dealing with flash forms in ColdFusion
and using Flash Remoting with the forms. I have worked through a few demos
and examples available on the web (including the RealEstate example from
macromedia). I am still very new to it and have a long way to go, but I
have been absolutely blown away with how relatively simple and powerful it
is.

My question, for those of you who have more experience with this than I do,
is this - Is there any reason not to use this approach? Are flash forms and
the associated technology ready for prime-time?

Thanks

Steve
