y'all know you can do all these things right, there is a product for that.... 
it's called "flash".

after all it's "coldfusion" not "flashfusion" or "flexfusion" or "windowsfusion"

Be realistic about your efforts and cfm's efforts, if you want that much more 
than what cfm has then start playing with flex, after all you can run flex 
right on a cfm page and use a cfm backend and use cfm remoting........

speed is my number 1
i've also had a hard time when trying to be picky about positioning
a combo box would be nice
ability to rotate grid headers
ability to put tabs down the side
some sort of page stack (or just turn off the tabs on tab pages)
