Mosh, Thanks but I tried that yesterday as a shot-in-the-dark No dice, but good thinking :-)
My next attempt is going to: 1. install a mapping to the client web site 2. put the CF 404 handler under the client's web root in this mapped folder 3. Try again Obviously doing this has implications; none of which I like very much. BTW Since instituting the technique CF memory usage has shown no appreciable gain that I can pin on it. System is a 2.8ghz dual xeon. CF eats between 200 and 300 mb of 2gb. cpu usage curves also show no noticeable gains. The page that benefits from this is viewed approximately 100k times per week. -- --mattRobertson-- Janitor, MSB Web Systems mysecretbase.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:227543 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
