actually it is a numeric. It has to be the drivers since I converted the DB to MySQL and Rant eh same code and it worked just fine.

Just a thought. Not sure setting integer vs bit in cfqueryparam would matter in this instance. -------------------------------------------------------- Eric J. I have validated that all the form fields are there and properly set as needed. Here is the insert query: <CFQUERY NAME="qAddMemberInfo" DATASOURCE="#REQUEST.DSN#"> INSERT INTO MEMBERS ( FIRSTNAME, LASTNAME, COMPANYNAME, EMAILADDRESS, PHONENUMBER, USERNAME, PASSWORD, LOGINS, ACCTSTATUS ) VALUES ( <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.firstname#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.lastname#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.companyname#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.emailaddress#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.phonenumber#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.username#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" VALUE="#form.password#">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_INTEGER" VALUE="0">, <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_INTEGER" VALUE="#form.acctstatus#"> ) </CFQUERY> I have validated that all fields are specified correctly for the data types. The query runs just fine if I ran it in MS Access. However in CF7, it Indicates there is a syntax error in the INSERT query. The line that it references is this line: <CFQUERYPARAM CFSQLTYPE="CF_SQL_INTEGER" VALUE="#form.acctstatus#"> The value of the form variable is 1. Error Executing Database Query. Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement.
