I tried the form at that site; on IE it did nothing when a search was
typed, showing no records, while on FF it showed all records and
wouldn''t allow me to type anything at all.

Then I installed Flash Player 8, restarted both browser sessions and
tried it again; it works in IE and still doesn't work in FF (the
cursor location is out by a large margin so it clicks in the wrong
place).

Anyway, implementing similar functionality with CFAJAX would be
straightforward. Dynamically rewriting the contents of a scrolling
div based on the same searching CFC used in the flash form would be a
few lines of code. I dare say it would load quicker too - the form
took a while to show up on my older box. I would also be able to copy
and paste the results, something I can't do with the flash form as it
is.
