I was not suggesting that he used exchange, if you READ properly, I was
listing some of the software that comes with Action Pack, including
Exchange.
Id you also refer to my previous reply, I had in fact suggested win2k3 which
includes SMTP and POP3 services.

I would strongly recommend NOT running an Exchange server solely to send
outbound SMTP email for testing... that's a lot of complication (pretty
equivalent to saying just run a Linux server for all your outbound mail
