Nope...i am not the onlyone that has this problem apparently. It was a pretty simple set up that produced the initial workbook, then looped through each of the worksheets. it created a summarry sheet that had aliasting of student names and a few other items of data and the name were links to the corresponding worksheet that had individual data for that student. It hought it would be pretty straight forward and quick, but thatw as not the case.
