Sorry .. thicko here .. so it looks like I can set the locale for each site
in the application.cfm?

And if so .. I don't get the syntax ...

The docs show:

<cfoutput>#SetLocale("English (UK)")#</cfoutput>

which is great if i want to display it, and I see it makes the necessary
change on the site, too. but how do I just set it without displaying it?
