I've got Windows 2003 Server standard installed with all patches, service packs, and hotfixes installed. I just downloaded the MX 7.01 installer from Macromedia.com. The installation seemed to go fine, but gave me an "Errors occurred during installation" message. The MX App Server service will not start. I tried to go to the Administrator (which I knew would not start) and got a 404; the CFIDE virtual directory hadn't been created. I found technote 18689 on macromedia.com for installing 6.1 on IIS6 and the one thing that stuck out to me was that I couldn't find c:\cfusionmx7\bin\iscf.dll Has anyone had this problem, and what did you do to resolve it?
