I have in fact tried Macromedia' CF forums. They are useless. No one ever replies to those-- at least not when I post a question :) In fact I will sometime come back and post the answer myself several days later, and that will be the second post to that thread. Speaking of asfusion gurus. Laura from asfusion.com claimed to know how to do this in one of her posts, (http://www.asfusion.com/blog/entry/checkboxes-in-a-cfgrid) but she never said how. She just promised to post the answer some time. That was over two months ago and I can't find a contact for her ANYWHERE! I will check out cfpim and see what they have to offer. I have tried several listeners. The problem seems to be either: 1) finding an event which is fired by the checkbox being checked/unchecked 2) Figuring out how to reference the checkbox itself to attach the listener. There is supposed to be a click event broadcast whenever a checkbox is clicked, but I don't know how to attach it to a cfgrid checkbox when using type="Boolean" on the column. That double click listener looks useful. I was going to try to figure that one out later. I am also searching the CF-Talk archives right now, but coming up pretty empty handed so far.
