I know you can do that, but when one of the most forged domains in history
doesn't implement SPF in the way it was intended to be used it makes the
scoring of mails from that domain pointless from an SPF point of view.

That's my point. If it is implemented correctly by everyone so that we have
a definate list of mail servers that mail can originate from then all would
be right with the world but when it isn't used by the majority of people and
the ones that do use it implement it in a way that says hey mail from
'aol.com' could come from any IP address in the world then there isn't
really much point at all...
