I have heard a lot of good things about them, but lately their response has been less then stellar. It's true that when you call them up you get to speak to somebody most of the time. Except that somebody is usually either a CSR or a low level tech. If you need something to get done that requires any skill at all, it will be forwarded to a higher level tech that's impossible to get on the phone.
So far I've been very disappointed. Now, perhaps, what I'm asking for is unreasonable (I need a load balancer configured a certain way), but the response I've been getting is horrible. It takes them half a day to respond to a ticket on this issue, and they tell me it's done, and when I test it, it still doesn't work. And same thing the next day. If they are really as good as people say they are then in my opinion they are very understaffed right now, so I wouldn't expect to get good support. If you can afford it, go with rackspace. They have great support, and you can actually speak on the phone to a real tech that handles your problem. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to communicate to the tech handling my situation either through email or playing broken telephone with a CSR.
