But I thought that the license key was system specific. When I got one for Windows (cf4) I thought the key started with a W and someone from a different department got one for Linux and it started with an L.
Of course my memory is faulty, I haven't had much sleep and all the dayquil I've taken is starting to make me see weird colors everywhere. :) Thanks, Steve -----Original Message----- From: Ben Forta [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 13, 2006 8:26 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: RE: CF licenses The CF license is for the box (well, the CPUs actually). So if you install CF on a box running Windows and then wipe the machine and install Linux, you can use the same CF license on that same box. --- Ben -----Original Message----- From: Protoculture [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, January 13, 2006 5:12 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: CF licenses just a quick question. When purchasing a license of CF does it ( the single license ) apply to one OS or to all of them. Or does it only apply to the first OS you chose when registering? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:229438 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
