I was curious if anyone knew how many connections to the database server a standard CFM 7 server makes. Does it just make one connection for the JDBC connection and then push queries to that or does it make a connection per query? The reason I am asking is curious if one could just buy a minimun user license count of a DB to work with their site or just have to break down and buy it per CPU. Such as, could one buy the bare min of licenses for Oracle Standard Edition 1 and just use the CFM server with it for one schema and be just fine.
